Simple Beam Compass Instructable

This is the simplest/ easiest way that I could think of, of making a large compass. Enjoy!

Gather Materials

Gather 2 pieces of identical length wood for the 'beam', and 2 identical pieces for the inner channel. Also two misc sized pieces for the pencil hole. The sizes you choose dont matter, just as long as they are the same.

Glue the Small Pieces on Either Inner End of the Long Stick.

Create a Sandwich the Next Long Piece - Using Glue to Adhere Them Together

Drill a Hole Into the Pencil Holder

Attach the Pencil Holder to the Rest of the Body of the Compass

Find a Bolt With a Pointy End and a Bolt + Washer

The Final Step

Stick bolt and nut through channel, and pencil in hole- the ruler is now ready for use!
