Simple Bath Pillow From Pool Noodle

IMG_5386.jpg

I couldn't find much in the way of a bath pillow locally or online (other than inflatable seashell) so I contrived to make my own. A pool noodle, some poly rope and a couple large plastic washers made from bottoms of pill bottles are the only materials and a serrated knife is the only tool.

Thread Pieces on Rope

Cut enough rope to let you assemble pieces comfortably. Two pieces of pool noodle about 7" long suited me. Having the pillow in two pieces allows for pillow to self center and cradle the head while in use.

Snug It Up

Simple overhand knot will suffice. Snug the second knot up as close to the washer as you can, trim the excess and you are done! You could tie a loop to hang the pillow from a hook if you want. Materials resist mold and mildew so you should enjoy for a long time.
