Shrimp Won Ton!


Won Tons are easy to make, and require only a single burner to heat water or soup in. You'll need wrappers from the grocery, soy sauce, garlic, a dash of ginger, some chopped scallions, and chopped shimp and optionally pork.
Ingredients

Mince 4 oz shimp. Add a tablespoon chopped green onion, a 1/4 teaspoon each crushed garlic and ginger, a teaspoon chopped bamboo shoots if you have them, and a dash- say a teaspoon- light soy. sauce. Mix well.
Assembly

Lay some wrappers on a cutting board or plate. Put a teaspoon of the mixture in the center of each. Wet two edges, and fold into triangles. Now bring the two far ends of the triangle together, and press.
Cooking

Drop the assembled won tons into your chicken soup to which you've added a dash of light soy, and a bit of ginger and garlic. Cook at a low boil for about 5 minutes, and serve. Add some chopped green onions for a garnish, if you like.
