Simple Product Photography Using A Smartphone, Natural Light and A4 Sheets of Paper

Short and sweet beginner’s tutorial on how you can easily shoot a professional looking product photo using any camera, natural window light and a few sheets of white printer paper.

Stuff You Need

1) A flat surface or a wall

2) A smart phone or any camera

3) A few sheets of A4 paper or printer paper

4) Window light

The Set Up

The basic idea is that you can made yourself a miniature seamless white backdrop by taping some white paper up on a board or vertical surface that’s next to a bright window.

Watch the video to get a better understanding but basically you soften the lighting on the side opposite the window by using another piece of paper to bounce light back onto your product.
