We bought about 7 metres of PVC pipes so we can cut it into 36 pieces of 20 cm each. To determine how long the pieces would be, just measure the longest shoe and made it a few centimeters longer than that.

Pick a size that will fit your shoes.
Use a hacksaw to cut pipes into smaller lengths.

Wash all the pieces.

After cutting and washing the pipes, you can use sandpaper to make them smoother.

Assembling the Pieces

Before putting the glue, determine where do you want to put the shelf brackets, and don't glue those pipes.
Use a marker so you can know where to put the glue. It's better if you glue per 3 pieces then you assemble it. Just brush it along where you want the join to be and press together. Use Clothespin to maintain it together.

Now, you can fix the shelf brackets on the pipes with bolts and nuts by using the screwdriver or a drill. After this, finish to glue all pipes together.

Paint Time

It's time to paint, my favorite part. We used a gold spray paint but you can choose the color you want. Do this step in a ventilated area.
