ShockFang – Simple DIY Noise Machine (Golden Glass + Aluminum + Rubber Bands)

ShockFang is a simple DIY noise-making instrument shaped like an electric guitar.

It is made using gold acrylic (gold glass), an aluminum rod, screws, and rubber bands

The build is easy, the look is cool, and the sound is unique.

Supplies

Gold acrylic sheet

Aluminum rod

Rubber bands

Screws & nuts

Strong glue

Small wooden or acrylic block

Sandpaper

✅ Tools

Drill

Acrylic cutter / jigsaw

Screwdriver

Marker + ruler

Safety gear

Cut the Glass

Draw a simple electric-guitar shape on the gold acrylic sheet.

Cut slowly using a cutter or jigsaw.

Sand all edges until smooth.


Add Aluminium Rod

Paste the aluminum rod across the middle of the body.

This works as the bridge and helps create louder vibration.

Make sure the rod is straight.

Add Rubber Bands(strings)

Stretch 3–5 rubber bands from the neck area to the aluminum rod.

Adjust the tension until the bands sound clean when plucked.

Thin bands = high sound

Thick bands = deep sound

Clean the gold acrylic

Tighten all screws

Smooth all edges

Your ShockFang will now look like a mini electric-style noise machine.
