Shiny Kitchenwares

Here, I am going to share some simple cleaning tips for keeping copper-based utensils and other kitchenware shiny.
Cleaning Copper Utensils

When copper-based utensils were exposed to humid conditions it will turn into green-colored copper hydroxide . Here, we can see how to retrieve the shiny surface.
Supplies
- Tamarind fruit or pulp
- Bowl
- Water
- Cloth
- Hand gloves
Wear hand gloves.
In a bowl put the tamarind fruit and add some water. Stir well or dilute the tamarind pulp.
Apply this mixture over the copper utensil ( I cleaned a bottle here)
Leave it for 2-3 minutes.
Rub it with a small piece of cloth or steel wool.
Now, the utensil will shine
Cleaning Oily Surfaces

frequently, The cooktops will become oily. To make them shiny again do the following
Supplies
- Lemon ( other citrus fruits also be used)
- cloth
Cut the lemon into two pieces.
Using a lemon piece rub over the oily surfaces for one minute.
Leave it for one minute.
Using a piece of cloth, wipe the surfaces by applying pressure
Cleaning Corroded Battery Terminals

The battery terminals will often corrode and blocks the current flow. If it is a car battery, starting problems will arise. So, Frequent maintenance must be done. The corrosion will be indicated by white, blue or yellowish powder on the terminals.
Supplies
- Sandpaper
- Grease
Remove the cable from the terminals
Using sandpaper polish both the terminal and the cable
Connect the cable with the terminal
Apply grease over it.
