For a no dig garden bed, using sheet mulching method is the best solution.
A clever idea for a big garden. I used this method for my front yard garden.
I got many pictures to share my project to you.
Steps:
Step 1: Choose a location for your new garden beds
Step 2: Dig and remove the sod of the edge
Step 3: Sheet Mulching - List of materials to sheet mulch
Step 4: Sheet mulching materials - Source of cardboard
Step 5: Sheet mulching materials - Ramial chipped wood (RCW)
Step 6: Sheet mulching materials - Making wood chip mulch
Step 7: Sheet mulching materials - Get RCW from arborists
Step 8: Lay down large sheets of cardboard
Step 9: Soak the cardboard layer - Sheet mulching with cardboard
Step 10: Dump and spread the wood chip mulch over cardboard
Step 11: Lay a border with logs
Step 12: Planting after sheet mulching - Planting into sheet mulch
Choose a Location for Your New Garden Beds

First, choose the proper location for your plants and plan your garden layout.
Dig and Remove the Sod of the Edge

Determine the outline of your bed. You can use a rope to layout it. Start digging the edge

Lay Down Large Sheets of Cardboard and Dump Wood Chips


Put sheets of recycled cardboard got from furniture stores around your garden bed.
