This is a project which uses an accelerometer on the micro:bit to detect movement. It is useful for detecting how many times a door has been opened, for example. If you ever wanted to track how many times you opened a door of a fridge or something else, this is for you.

Since you need the code to get the micro:bit to work, use the one provided here:

To make the opened door detector, you have to:
1. Find a transparent box, small enough so that the micro:bit would have just enough space
2. Put some double-sided foam tape on 1 side of the transparent box
3. Connect a battery (preferably charged) to the micro:bit
4. Put the micro:bit into the box
5. Put the box on a door.
Now you have an operational opened door detector on a door.
