Supplies
Miter saw, table saw, hot glue, wood glue, cardboard, led lights, nail gun, 3 1/2 x 10-inch boards, ratchet straps
Cutting Wood

I cut the wood into 3 1/2 x 10-inch boards, then I cut 45-degree angled cuts on each end of each board. I took each board and cut a 1 1/2 x 1 inch groove into the middle of each board to later fit the lights.
Assembling the Box

I used wood glue on each corner and used ratchet straps to hold it tight together. This allows the box to keep its shape while drying.
Design and Lights

I then cut out my design out of cardboard and glued them into place. I then glued the lights into the grooves with hot glue and the glued the electrical box on the top in the back.
End Product

After gluing the lights, I cut and nailed the back on to the box, then I drilled a hole through the back to slide the plug through
