Sew Your Heart Into a Card

What?

Make a hand-sewn card, not a printed product or a simple flat design. It allows the person who receives the card to feel more of your heartfelt intention.

How?

First, use an awl to poke holes.

Use a needle and colorful threads to sew your own designed card.

Then stick it onto the card.

Why?

Now, many cards sold in bookstores and online are mass-produced printed products.

They don’t have a "one and only" feeling.

I hope this hand-sewn card can truly and directly convey feelings and care.

Materials: Awl, cutting mat, eraser

Use the awl to poke holes along the lines (to make sewing easier).

Then erase the pencil lines with an eraser.

Note:

The distance between holes is about 3-5mm.

Place a cutting mat underneath.

You can also draw pictures and write words on it.

Note:

Using glitter pens looks very nice.

Materials: Double-sided tape

Stick double-sided tape on the back of the sewn paper,

then stick it onto the A5 paper folded in half.

Note:

Tear off a small piece of tape at the start.

It’s easier to align before sticking.
