Selfie Stick Custom Tripod (PDF File Provided)

Welcome!

I needed a tripod for a selfie stick I bought, so I made a custom one. The selfie stick has a screwing hole and for that reason I designed a support for the screw. The whole tripod support is built in 3mm MDF and entirely laser-cutted.

Materials:

-One 3mm MDF board (44cmx44cm)

-A 6mm diameter screw (I used a 5 cm long screw)

-A small clamp

-Wood glue

-PDF File (provided)

-Ruler (optional)

First, laser-cut the board using the PDF file provided above. You need to have the following pieces (as shown in the pictures).

The PDF file has two sets of pieces, so you will have enough for building two supports in case you need it.

1. You will need the five concentric pieces and arrange them around the screw as shown in the first and second picture.

2. Apply glue and put them together with the clamp as shown in the third picture.

3. Let it dry for a bit.

Put each tripod leg in each of the spaces provided such as in the picture.

Finally, you just need to screw the tripod support into the screw hole of the selfie stick.
