Self Retracting Box Cutter Using Rubber Band

Just turn your box cutter into Self Retracting Box Cutter Using Rubber Band

Supplies

-> your usual Box Cutter

-> Rubber band (I used a 20 milimeters diameter)

->Universal pliers (or tweezers)

->Something to help you reach small pieces ( I used a small screwdriver)

Dismantle the Box Cutter

Simply remove the bottom and center piece and remove the blade, as shown in the pictures

Disassemble the Centerpiece

Disassemble the centerpiece and remove the metal parts that secure it

Place the Rubber Band

Place the Rubberband so that the center piece is attached in some way (you can use glue)

Assemble the Box Cutter

Assemble the box cutter, making sure that the Rubber Band is stuck somewhere, I used the bottom part to pin it so that it is stuck.
