Secure It

The mechanism is inspired by BevBuckle and design inspired by movies or video games. I present a more teen-friendly version of BevBuckle, designed to make life easier.
The Back Bone
The first steps were finding dimensions that fit the belt well and making the backbone of the product, allowing everything to connect smoothly. I also had to make it so that the belt sits in a comfortable position that any user would be happy with while also being able to hold up the weight of bottles.
The Look
The second step is to make a design that fits well with the product, allowing it to appeal to anyone and fit the product.
First Print
The first production was a great start with it being able to act as a buckle on the first try. There was little imperfections as the loop on the top and the hole on the middle for the hinge. All prints used PETG fillament.
Final Touches
The second print was the final print, in which i had to make a hole for the hinge and attatch it. Now you are left with a belt buckle i call Secure It. Something extra you can do is add magnets so that the top layer stays shut but that wasn't a problem for me.
