Go scavenging around for 3 nails, once you got them, form a triangle around the hole your gonna drill, they’ll serve as guides and will ensure your hole saw stays in place the first few seconds of the operation. You can use your disk removal tool on any grinder as long as the pins on the tool fit inside the holes on the grinder’s retainer nut, all you gotta do is place one of them in and use the other as a lever, Macgyver would be so proud, let’s move on to the next trick.

If you’re a residential or commercial plumber you know very well the cast iron cutters don’t always leave a clean edge, so here’s what you do. Instead of using a grinder, grab your trusty adjustable wrench and snap off any protruding pieces that could cause a potential leak if not removed.
