Secret Jar

In this lesson I will be teaching you how to make a hide it jar!

You will need a mason jar, a hot glue gun and a rock it’s that simple!

The first thing you will need to do is find an unused mason jar of any size! You will be putting emergency keys or supplies outside.

You will unscrew the lid of the mason jar and add hot glue along the rim of the outer lid, insure the inner piece of the lid is Secure.

Well you are waiting for the hot glue go out to your garden and find a rock that is big enough to fit your lid. TIP- To big is better then to small.

Once you find your rock bring it inside to glue onto your lid of the jar. The rock will need a lot of glue to stay on the lid. TIP- Put the glue around the top of the jar lid and push on the rock.

Fill up your jar with your emergency key or supplies as this will be outside of your house.

Your jar and rock should look like this once fully dry.

Finally, dig a hole in the ground and insert your jar with emergency supplies. TIP- make sure your rock is at the same level as the ground or it would look strange.
