Secret Drawer Compartment

Secret 4.jpg

This Instructable will give you ideas on how to create a secret drawer stash. All drawers are different so this is just a basic outline. The great part is that looking under the drawer wouldn't seem to be a thing that thieves and nosy kids would do. This project adds to that by disguising the fact that there is another area below the drawer.

Tools needed:
Wood Panel
Measuring Tape
Saw
Pencil
Flat Edge
Kitchen Drawer

  1. Pull out you Drawer
  2. Measure the inside dimensions
  3. Cut your panel to fit
  4. Place your valuable inside
  5. Slide the panel into the cabinet and under the drawer
  6. Replace the drawer
It's pretty simple in the cabinets I have and very hidden. Now you know my secret hiding space. Haha.
If you are unable to slide the panel in, as I have done, there are other alternatives.
  1. You could cut the panel in half and use hinges to fold and set the wood panel into the space.
  2. You could use cardboard and wood laminate to the same effect.
  3. you could not use a panel and just stash your stuff under the drawer.
There are plenty of options. Please feel free to add your suggestions in the comment area below.
