Seashell Christmas Tree
I got this idea when I browsing around Hobby Lobby for some materials, I saw an adorable picture of a seashell christmas tree but it had no instructions on how to make it so i winged it and this is what I came up. This is a cute and adorable little tree that is easy to make and looks great, you can use it for a center peice, decoration, or even as a gift! Enjoy :)
Supplies
Alright so the first step (as always) is to gather your goodies. What you will nedd for this adorable little tree is:
-A styrofoam trianlgle (I used the medium size but you can do what ever size you want just know that the amount of shells you will need might double)
-3 bags of white seashells (you will have some left over but it's better to be safe then sorry I ran out when I only needed six more shells :p)
-a bag or two of small colored seashells (I used two bags because I only used the small swirly shells but you can do waht ever you want)
-a hot glue gun (you can use shell glue from hobby lobby for $4.97 but I didnt feel like spending the money on it when I can use a hot glue gun)

Getting Organized
Divide the shells into three piles for the different size, this step is optional but I did it anyways because it makes it so much easier to keep track.
Let's Get Started!
Alright now that your organized let's get started! This is fairly easy just start gluing the shells upside down onto the tree and just glue them all around the tree then sontinue this step till you've the reached the top and covered the whole tree (the next step will show how to top off the tree)
Topping the Tree
Now that you have put all your shells on your tree its time to top it off. I used three shells for this step but it could differ on your the size you chose to do. Take your shells and super glue the opposite way you did the others (pictured) and then take a shell and glue it in the middle of the three and you have now topped your tree :)
*note: you can use anything to top your tree starfish, colored shells, anything you can think of I just used a white one because it's what I had on hand at the time

Adding the "Ornaments"
Now it's time to start adding the ornaments! This is az tedious but simple step just take alll your different colored shells and start gluing them onto your tree. I just glued them on at random but you can make a color pattern if you like. I glued the colored shells in between the white ones till I covered the entire tree in "ornaments"
You're Done!
Now it's time to step back and admire your beautiful tree :) you can always add new thing's or whatever you want to customize your little tree. If you want you can always place it on a place round piece of wood and have little presents below it or make several of these and have a cute little scene of seashell trees, your options are limitless :)
