Screwdriver Rope Sling

Whenever I am working in the top of our barn or on top of it, I've wished I could hang my drill motor from my belt instead of looking for a place to set it and keep it from falling. So I came up with this idea. I'm not saying this is completely my idea because I might have heard it some wheres else. Anyhow I'm thought this might give you some ideas.

The length is up to you but mine was about 2 feet long. Start a square knot but before you tighten it hook your carbineer though the middle, then tighten it hard.
Next ,take and cut of the extra. Do it one at a time to keep it from undoing itself. Take your matches and melt the ends to keep them there.

Wrap Up

Wrap it around and then slip it though its self and pull it tight.

Finished!

From the photos you can see I made two versions if it. Of course the length is up to you.
