I have painted these old CDS with oil colors and acrylic colors and I have a lot of ideas on how to utilize or upcycle these old CDS I will be sharing more ideas because this is optimizing the best out of waste and creating sustainable DIY I painted 3 CDS you can make more and create a wall hanging of CDS or you can paste it on the wall like a dead in this video these old CDS are very easy to upcycle and create very beautiful art and DIY decor.

Paint the Base White



1. Take any old CD or Vinyl
2. Paint a thin layer of white colour

Paint Gradient Background


1. Mix Prussian blue and Crimson Lake (red/pink) on a pallet
2. Start applying to the base, a gradient effect will be created because of the white used earlier.
This will be the background sky for making clouds.

Gradually Build the Sky




1. Start by making shadows - using the dark colour
2. Add mid-tones by adding white to dark shades.
3. Add highlights by using white

Attach to Wall

1. Use double-sided tape to secure the CD on the flat wall surface
