I enjoy mixing and matching cushion covers in my sofa because a small change can make it look totally different! I mix and change colors, sizes and also textures according to the season of the year or my mood.

Creating this scarf cushion cover is simple but adorable. It will bring a warm touch to your home, especially if you are in a cozy day or if you want to decorate your home for winter.

Gather Your Materials

  • Thread and needle
  • Cushion
  • Sewing machine

Flip the Circle Scarf

You need to flip the scarf to prepare it for sewing. Ensure that the stitches from manufacturer is aligned in the center.

Adjust Sewing Machine Settings

Sewing machine should be adjusted in short stitch length.

Sew One Side Completely

Start sewing one side of the scarf completely. Since the stitch length is short, you can see that the cover looks longer in the side you sewed than the other. Do not worry. This will not be visible when you sew the other side and fill it with the cushion.

Sew Half of the Other Side

You only need to sew half of the remaining side of the cover so you get space to fill it with the cushion.

Flip to Right Side

Flipping the cover to the right side will hide the stitches

Put Cushion Inside of Cover
