This fattening snack with Sausage, Cheese and Bisquick is perfect for when you are with your family or even yourself. This happens to be a favorite game day snack around my household.
Supplies
What you'll need to make this is
Original Bisquick mix -- You can make your own homemade mix if you want
Cheddar cheese – I like to use a half and half mixture of regular and sharp cheddar but you can use any kind you like
Sausage – I personally use half Spicy half regular but you can use either one.
milk – I tend to use 2% milk but really any will do.
Parchment paper
Baking sheet
Mix Ingredients
Mix the sausage, cheese and bisquick in a bowl. You can use your hands or if you have a stand mixer it would save you a lot of work.
Roll Up the Sausage Balls
Form into balls using hands. You want to make about a 1 inch ball. Using a cookie scoop works best to make them. I make mine a little bit bigger than 1 inch, you just need to make sure to space them enough on the baking pan when cooking to avoid them combining.
Place the Balls on a Baking Sheet
Once you've rolled your 1 inch balls you should place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Cook in the Oven
Put the pan in the oven for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
Enjoy
