Saturn V 3D Model

In honor of The Artemis 1 launching this Saturday, I decided to create The first rocket to bring humans to the moon, The Mighty Saturn V. Developed by Boeing, North American Aviation, And Douglas Aircraft it is the largest rocket and rocket engine ever built.

Stage 1

Stage 1 is the big boost used for leaving the atmosphere. To Create this you will need to create the 5 powerful engines Personally used Emitters (Found in Vehicles and Machines). The main body of almost every stage is made up of Cardboard tubes stacked on to each other. The black stripes are black cylinders set to be the same height of the first tube. The more tedious task to complete is The "USA" logo and the American flag. The USA flag is a combination of elongated rectangles and stars.

Stage 2

The second stage was also used to exit the earths atmosphere. This stage is a lot easier to design because its just all reused parts from the design of stage 1. The only complication I can see arising is the black line after the the stripes on the left (see Image 1). That black line/ring is a shrunk down carboard tube.

Stage 3

The third stage is the least powerful out of the 3 stages. This stage is significantly smaller. The two new pieces here are the "Lg yogurt cup" (The black cone shape) and just a normal block (White block sticking out). Ensure that the cup flows smoothly with the next cardboard tube as well as the last.

Instrument Ring

The instrument ring is pretty much a spacer between stage 3 and the Apollo spacecraft. Very simple to create it is a cardboard tube shrunk down.

The Apollo SpaceCraft

The Apollo Spacecraft is the module that arrives to orbit the moon. This introduces 3 new parts to the equation. A cone(Used for the bottom part) ensure that you either cut off the pointy bit or merge it into the cardboard tube that comes next. The next new part is actually the most accurate part because The Smithsonian has a part in the "featured collections" named "Command Module". The tip of the Spacecraft is a "Flying stand rod" recolored white (You will need to move it around a bit since it comes in a bit crooked).

Now you're ready to 3D print. Select the export option on the top right and select a format for your 3D printer.
