It’s that time of season to start thinking about gifts for your loved ones.Everyone loves Santa!!!I had recently made a Santa Ornament and thought to make one more as an applique for this headband.

Crochet headband patterns are great for those who are looking to make easy and quick projects. Headbands are not only great for holding hair back, but they're also cute and stylish. These are the perfect little accessory that would go with any outfit.

And what's more, headbands can be made with any type of yarn you like!Be it bulky , worsted or super bulky yarn or even with thread. And it can be made in any size!

Make these crochet headbands for yourself, for your children,or to give as gifts.

Start by making your Santa Face.

I have already shared a step by step tutorial for the same.

Next, let's make the Headband.

This is pretty easy. I've just used chain stitches and Single Crochet Stitches.

Start by making 7 chain stitches. This was the width I was looking for.You can adjust your width of the band by increasing or decreasing the starting chain stitches.

*Single crochet in each stitch around.

Chain 1 and turn to start the next round.*

Continue from * to * untill you reach the length you intend to make.

When you are satisfied that the headband is the size that you want it, cut the yarn, leaving a long tail of yarn to join the ends. Use a tapestry needle to stitch the ends of the headband together.

Now, Sew on the Santa Applique with your needle. The best place to sew the Applique would be on the stitches you used to join the headband together. This way you can hide the seams too.

Weave in your yarns ends.

The headband is now ready to wear and enjoy, or to give as a gift.
