This is a pair of Santa earrings that I made to wear during the Holidays.

Supplies

2 - French Hooks

2 - 22-ga. 2" Headpins

2 - 24-ga. 1" Headpins

2 - Red 12x8mm Glass Teardrops

2 - Clear 8mm Round Crystal Beads

2 - Glass White Pearl 8x3mm Rondelle Beads

2 - Glass White Pearl 4mm Round Beads

Assemble Santa

On the 2" head pin, put the round clear bead, then the round pearl rondelle. Put the red teardrop last.

Closed Loop

This is a very simple design. Making a closed loop is the only thing you need to know. Bend the head pin at a 90° angle above the red bead. Leave enough space to wrap the loop. Wrap the wire around the jaw of a round nose plier to form a loop. Connect the loop to the French Hook before you close the loop in the next step.

Closing the Loop

Close the loop by wrapping the wire around the top of the wire above the bead, about 3 times. Trim the excess wire, and press the cut end against the loops.

Santa Hat Dangle

String the round pearl on the 1" headpin. Bend the head pin at a 90° angle same as above. Leave enough space to wrap the loop. Form a loop with the round nose pliers. Connect to the loop above the Santa before finishing the wrap. As above wrap the wire about 3 times above the bead to finish the loop. Trim the excess wire, and press the cut end against the loops.

Have Fun Wearing These Holiday Earrings
