San Juan Worm

The San Juan worm is a great fly for multiple different types of fish, including, bass, sunfish, and others.

small curved scud nymph hook
red thread
Secure Thread

Secure and even thread base to the hook.

Start by tying on the chenille by the back of the hook. Then wrap your thread forward and do another layer of thread over the chenille by the eye of the hook. Finally, trim the chenille to your liking.

Whip finish, then add some glue.
