While I definitely bit off more than I could chew with this project for now, maybe you can complete it before I do!

Inspired by the Butter Passing Robot on the popular show Rick and Morty, I attempted to make a tabletop robot that would receive a command to retrieve salt or pepper and be able to do so and bring it back to your plate.

Supplies

All 3D Printed Files

Motor Tracks

One 20KG Servo

4 Servos

IR Remote & Sensor

Color Sensor

3 LEDs & 3 Resistors

2 Distance Sensors

Arduino Mega

3 Breadboards

A lot of Wires (Male & Female)

3D Printed Parts

Hot Glue

  1. Using a hot glue gun, glue the printed parts together. The names of the parts corelate to their position.
  2. Attach the 20KG Servo to the chassis of the tank motor.
  3. Attach the 3D Printed assembled head to the 20KG Servo.
  4. Wire the sensors and motors to the breadboard and Arduino Mega.
  5. Complete build setup.
  6. I could not get the 20KG Servo to function properly, so was unable to test the project out.
  7. Next Steps
  8. Get proper power to 20KG Servo and begin testing prototype.
  9. Add IR Remote for commands such as "Salt," "Pepper," or "Stop."
