Salad in a Parmesan Basket

You Will Need

rallado.jpg
Parmesan Cheese
Parchment paper
pan
non stick spray
3 glasses, one bigger that the other
salad for the filling

You will need 1/2 cup of grated cheese per basket.
You can make them bigger if you want them for a main dish.



To the Pan!

Preheat the pan  to medium heat , and cover with non stick spray.
Place the grated cheese measure in the pan.

Try to spread the cheese evenly to get it to be as round as possible.

Let it melt a  until the strands of cheese form one unit.
Let it on the pan until its starts to brown a little.




Take It Out

Once you have its brown enough you can take it out.

If you leave to long it will brake.
You might have to  make several  tests until you get to the perfect cooking time.


Molding

While its hot, transfer it to a  parchment paper covered glass.
You can mold it by hand, or  using the second bigger glass.

Just be careful, cause its hot.



Filling

Once the baskets are cool you can fill it up.
In this case we used salad.

If you use pasta,  serve the hot pasta into the cool basket.
