STRAWBEERY SYRUP

250g Fresh Strawberries

1tbsp Lemon Juice or Water

1tbsp Caster Sugar

Add all the ingredients to a saucepan and soften on a low - medium heat. Once the strawberries have softened, mash the strawberries and strain the mixture through a sieve.

HOT CHOCOLATE

300ml Milk

180ml Double Cream

78g White Chocolate

3-4tbsp Strawberry Syrup

1/4tsp Vanilla Extract

Chop the chocolate into small chunks. Add the milk and cream to a saucepan and bring to a simmer on a low - medium heat. Once the mixture begins to simmer, remove from the heat and add the vanilla and strawberry syrup.

Top the hot chocolate with whipped cream, strawberry syrup, a fresh strawberry and white chocolate shavings.
