This STEMFIE project builds a small Christmas tree you can assemble in under 15 minutes and decorate using coloured STEMFIE fasteners.

Download and 3D-print the Ready-made Build Plates

Use standard print settings on filament-based 3D-printers, such as the following:

  • Material: PLA filament
  • Layer height: 0.2 mm
  • Perimeters (shells): 2
  • Top solid layer count: 4
  • Bottom solid layer count: 4
  • Infill: 15%
  • Generic print speed: 50 mm/s

Assemble the Foot

Insert Four Washers and the Four Largest Braces

Inser the Rest of the Brace As Shown, Placing One Washer in Between

Fasten the Star at the Tip of the Tree
