IMG_2786.jpeg

This build is for the assembly of the SPT200 Pan & Tilt Kit. This assembly is part of a larger build to construct a robotic arm aimed to aid interpreters performing sign-language. The pan and tilt kit is used to perform wrist functions of the arm. It can rotate both horizontally and vertically 180 degrees. The kit was purchased from Servocity online.

Attach the 1/2" Bore Flat Bearing Mount to the rough side of the ABS plate as seen in the picture with (4) 6-32 x 3/8" Pan Head Phillips Head Screws. Next, attach (4) 0.625" Aluminum Standoffs to the smooth side of the ABS plate using (4) 6-32 x 3/8" Pan Head Phillips Head Screws. Then, slide the Servo Shaft Hub through the 1/2" Bore Flat Bearing Mount. Finally, attach the servo to the 0.625" Standoffs using (4) 6-32 x 3/8" Pan Head Phillips Head Screws. Be sure to obtain correct alignment of the servo before tightening down the screws. Secure the servo to the Servo Shaft Hub with the stock servo screws.

Pan Servo Mount Assembly
