Tools
- Triangular Rasp
- Wood Saw / Fret Saw
- Drilling Machine
Create Wood Blocks
From a 10x20 wood rod create four blocks:
- 2x 10x20x30 mm
- 1x 10x20x40 mm
- 1x 10x20x60 mm
PCB Clamp
Create a v-shaped groove into the upper part of the small side of both of the smallest wood blocks. This furrow will be used to fix the PCB.
Create Holes for the L-Shaped SMD Fixing Clamp
The SMD fixing clamp is a L-shaped clamp build with the 10x20x40 and 10x20x60 block (right and upper block in the picture). These two blocks will be put together with two smalls crews: Drill two holes for these screws into the right side of the 10x20x60 block (upper block in the picture). The 10x20x30 blocks can help during drilling (lower & left block in the picture).
Create M3 Screw Hole for the SBM Fixing Clamp
Drill a hole into the opposite side of the 10x20x60 block. It will later used by the M3 screw.
Drill Gap-End Hole Into the SMD Fixing Clamp
Drill a small hole somewhere in the middle of the 10x20x60 block. This will be used as an end marker for the next step.
Create Gap for the Needle Into the SMD Fixing Clamp
Use a saw to create a small gap into the 10x20x60 block. Create the gap until you reach the gap-end hole from the previous step. The gap can be closed with the M3 screw and will fix the needle.
Add Holes for the Magnet Screws
Add suitable holes for the screw to hold the ring magnet. The ring magnet will be attached to the two 10x20x30 blocks and the 10x20x40 block.
