SMD Soldering - the Fastest Tutorial

We are going to solder an SMD. In fact, this is really easy. And it is faster than through-hole parts. Trust me.

Solder One Pad

Put solder on one pad.

Solder the SMD

Grab the SMD with some tweezers.

Melt the solder and move the SMD into the molten solder.

Turn the Board

Turn the board so that the not-soldered pad is close to the soldering iron.

Solder Other Pad

Solder this pad.

Done!

Congratulation! With a little bit of practice, you will never want to go back to through-hole parts again. They occupy too much space and soldering them takes much longer...
