REASON FOR WRITING TUTORIAL
• Skybell motion sensor (always set to low) wouldn't stop triggering, video feeds of nothing.
• Skybell support graciously offered to sell a new sky bell. 🧐
• Read references, purchased lens covers and it is now fixed - starting w/no experience.

STEPS
1) Order lens cover(s). See below in supplies.

2) Carefully disassemble Skybell HD. Do NOT disconnect the wire.
2a) Remove cover shell. There is a retaining clip at the bottom of Skybell. Be gentle.
2b) Remove 4 mounting screws. Security sticker can be removed w/breaking.
2c) Remove rubber gaskets around around button and lens cover.

3) Trim lens cover.
Trickiest part. If the lens cover is too long, the components will not properly reassemble, and it
can be hard to tell...so kept trimming back and there is a photo showing about how far to trim.

4) Reassemble Skybell.

NOTE
I hate that Skybell is obvious when activated, and Skybell states this is to deter bad actors?!
Let the customer decide. While the Skybell is apart, I used a permanent marker to color the parts
of the Skybell that light when activated. Topped it off w/electrical tape.

This will likely void the warrantee, and expect if you are here because you do not want to rebuy.

SUPPLIES
1) Skybell HD with broken lens cover.
