and foldable!

Cordless drill
a 4 mm drill bit
a countersink
(screws)

5 boards, 3-layer pine wood, 3/4" thick
4 bars
2 diagonal bars
and a 4mm pine plywood back, this is optional and not necessary
2 wooden dowels
Cut or Buy the Wood
if you have a table saw or a track saw, you can saw the wood by your own
but you can also buy the cut wood at your wood store
Drill Holes in the Bars
drill 5 holes in each of the 4 bars
be sure all of them have the same distance from the edge
drill also two holes in the diagonal bars
a small one on the upper end and bigger one on the lower end for the wooden dowel
if you have no drill press, a hand drill is also good enough
after drilling countersink the holes
Drill Holes in the Boards
drill small pilot holes in every corner of the boards
this little jig on the picture makes it a little bit easier
Assembling
screw all the bars on the boards
Add a Backboard
if you want you can add a backboard, but this is not necessary
If you want you can also paint your shelf
The Diagonal Bars
screw one diagonal bar on the back bar
make sure, the shelf is at the right angle
then mark the position of the lower hole of the diagonal bar on the front bar
drill here a hole for the wooden dowel
glue a wooden dowel in this hole
it should fit in the hole of the diagonal bar
