Rustic Six Pack

A rustic six pack, easily made out of reclaimed pallet wood. A rustic sick pack holder is a great conversation starter or gift for anyone.

Start with pallet wood or any reclaimed wood. Breaking it down to useable pieces. You as well may use new clean wood for a cleaner style.

Start cutting down the material to size. Using bottles to measure with the spacing you need for dividers to get a overall length for the base. My self had to joint and glue two boards together to get the width.

Cut two boards to the length of your base plus the thickness of your end side boards. As well as determining the height of your side boards to contain the bottles inside.

Determining the height of your end boards depends on the size of your bottles that will be used. The width of the boards are the same as the base.

Rounding the top of the end boards adds decoration. But you may choose to do a different style or flair.

Drilling a hole for a metal bar or even wood. I had chosen to cut a board with a ark. Attaching it to the end boards with a mortise and tenon joint.

The end boards along with the side boards where attached with pin nails and wood glue. You may just glue it or use other joinery.

The dividers where made by cutting down boards the center divider is smaller do to cutting a dato into the other dividers. The three other dividers where sized just smaller then the side boards. The dividers where attached to the base when the side boards where.

I finished off the six pack holder with a clear finish. I slightly sanded the wood to keep a rustic feel. I also added a bottle opener on the side. I hope you can make one to your style and this gives you guidance.
