Rustic Pottery and Round Tin Rustic Pottery

Making rustic pottery for harvest and planting herbs. This is something that can be done by the whole family. First, you will paint the pot let dry, and then add baking soda or flour around the pot let it dry, and then repaint it and you will get a rustic look.

Supplies

  1. Old flowerpot, round tin
  2. Sponge paint brushes, paint
  3. Glue gun
  4. Popsicle sticks
  5. 2 cups of flour or baking soda
  6. Miracle-grown potting soil.
  7. Behr terra cotta clay paint
  8. Harvest directions

Painting and Putting Flour On

Wipe pottery and then turn upside down to paint, you will paint all around the pot and tin. Let halfway dry and then sprinkle flour or baking soda around the pot and tin. Let dry and put on the second layer.

Getting Decorations Ready to Add On

While drying put the popsicle sticks with your message on it and what you are planting and glue together. Set it to the side and then start putting your harvest decorations on the flowerpot and tin.

Finishing Product

After the decorations are on start putting the soil and the herbs in the pot and then your message and what was planted.
