Rubber Band CQB Bullpup Rifle
this is another design I made whilst tinkering. It uses a friction operation similar to my rubber band perssion rifle (go check it out under outside, lauchers) the main difference though is this is a bullpup. That means it’s firing mechanism is behind the handle and trigger. This increases barrel length is shorter package for a CQB environment. I hope you enjoy this build! Leave a comment if you have any troubles getting this together and I’ll be sure to help you out. Enjoy.
Supplies
1x1x36” square head dowel “rod”
Lots of jumbo and regular sized craft sticks.
Clothes pins (3 or 4 should be sufficient)
1/2 inch aluminum pipe. (14 “ long)
Small and large rubber bands.
Tools you’ll need are HIGH TEMP hotglue gun
Wood saw.
Scissors and or hobby knife.
Mechanism
for your release pin you’ll use a clothes pin with a sliver cut at the real. Then cut a craft stick to 1 inch and hot glue it to the sliver. (Look to above image) set this aside for now. Now take 4 craft sticks and hot glue than together. Now take 4 more craft sticks and hot glue those together. You should have two pieces now. Then use 2 craft sticks to bridge em together with a 1/2 inch gap. This should look like above image. Now on one end of the rod you made hot glue a 1 inch craft stick to act as a trigger. (Look to above image) set this aside for now. To make the friction bar hot glue two craft sticks together so there’s 2 inches on bot side sticking out (look to above image) set this aside for now.
The Body
cut your dowel rod so that it’s 20 inches long. Now cut a diagonal sliver off it (above). Cut another peice off the dowel rod NOT THE 20 INCH PIECE. Except this time cut 5 inches off. Now cut a diagonal sliver off and attach to other peice (above). Attack your barrel on it should stick out 3mm on the end that’s not cut. Underneath the barrel attach your friction bar (above) now at the end of your friction bar attach your release pin. Now take your trigger pin and use a rubber band to hold it in place so that the trigger end is not faceing the release pin. The trigger should be 2 1/3 inches through the underside of the barrel (above) now cut diagonally a 4 1/2 inch peice and use craft sticks to hold it so that when you hold the handle the trigger should be comfortable to hold. Now use the above photos to decorate it. If it dose not look like seem like you did it right just ask me in the comments and I’ll be sure to help. Don’t forget to attach your rubber band. Load this gun like you do my rubber band perssion rifle (go check that one out) I hope you enjoyed this build if you have any questions just ask me I’ll be sure to help!
