Rotel

I made rotel (cheese dip) because it is one of my favorite quickest meals to cook being that I do not like to cook at all.

Supplies

  • Ground meat (beef, chicken, turkey)
  • 2 cans of rotel
  • Velveeta cheese (original or white queso)
  • seasons for meat (garlic powder, onion powder, & garlic and herb season blend)
  • chips (ruffles & Doritos)
  • can opener
  • cutting board (for cheese)
  • strainer
  • stirring utensils
  • pot
  • skillet

Brown Your Meat

Start cooking your meat. Season it to give it a little flavor. I use garlic powder, onion powder and garlic & herb season blend. Cook mean until it is completely brown. Drain grease in strainer.

Cut Cheese

Get out cutting board and start cutting cheese into smaller portions. Like I've stated at the beginning, you can use whatever cheese you want but I am using the original Velveeta cheese for this project.

Open Cans of Rotel

Get can opener and begin opening your cans of rotel so that you can get prepared to mix it all together.

Mixing It All Together

Once you've drained the grease off of your meat, sliced your cheese, and opened your cans of rotel you can now mix it all together into one big pot and let it begin to cook.

As I stated at the beginning it doesn't take long to make rotel. So once it's in the pot make sure you have the top to your pot to cover it because you want your cheese to melt good. It should only take about 25-30 minutes to do so.
