Because off the instructable 'Prototype 03 - Rotational Casting - Lasercut 3Dprinting' we also made an instructable where you can easily use your rotation moulder for.

In this instructable we show how to make chocolate eggs.

What Do You Need?

- 2 bowls

- 1 cooking pot

- 1 cooking plate

- egg-box with 6 eggs

- 250 grams of chocolate

- paper tape

- piece of paper or a funnel

- small spoon

Funnel

Let’s start to make a funnel with the piece of paper.

Roll up the paper and tape it off. Make sure the hole is big enough to let the chocolate run into the egg.

Make Holes

Poke two holes in a raw regular-sized egg.

Pierce the smaller end first (small hole), then the other end (larger hole), top and bottom.

Make sure the larger hole is big enough to let the funnel fit.

Blow Out the Egg

Hold the egg right above the bowl before blowing.

Blow through the small hole (air from your mouth) until the egg is empty.

Pour water trough the hole and shake gently until the egg is completely clean.

Repeat the step 3 and 4 for the 6 eggs.

Melt the Chocolate

Put the 250grams of chocolate in the bowl and let it melt afterwards in a pot of hot water.

Fill the Egg

Tape off the smaller hole (on the smaller end) and put the funnel through the bigger hole.

Pour gently the melted chocolate in the egg until its filled partly. Now you can tape the bigger hole as well and put it in the egg-box.

Repeat this step for all the eggs.

Rotate

DSC01753.jpg

Put the egg-box in the rotation moulder and start rotating the machine for about 10 to 15 minutes and then put the eggs into the fridge.

If you didn't make this rotation moulder, you can easily rotate the eggs by hand.

Baking Pancakes

DSC01607.jpg

While the chocolate is curing in the fridge you can make pancakes (for example) with the residual egg yolks.

Remove Shell

You can remove the shell now.
