Room Near School

This is the apartment that I rent near the school. Due to the house where my mom lives is way too far from the school, I essentially decided to move out and rent one. The size of this room is not big, but it is comfortable enough for me to stay in. My room layout used to be that the blue table is horizontally straight and the brown table is vertically near the blue table which presents a L shape. This lets my room visually look small and crowded. Therefore, due to this assignment, I changed my room layout like this to increase the space of walking. This also decreases the chance of me getting depressed by crowded space. Due to the quarantine, I think it is essential to make some changes since if an environment is too stable for a long period of time, people might feel stressed and likely to get depressed. Also, in order to fulfill my hobby, I purchase a piano to spend my extra time on it.

After reading my reasoning of why I changed the layout, now, lets talk about how to change it.

My first step is always list out what need to be changed. In my case, the front area will need to be change.

Second, I'll list out what items will be moved. This is also a great time to clean and remove things you don't necessary need in your life. For me, blue table, brown table, computer, 2 monitors, speaker, mic, Wifi router, and chair.

Third, briefly calculate the space you need, and map where those things going to be.

Forth, take off all the thing on the desk to a clean area. I put it on the steps near my bed.

Fifth, Clean everything.

Sixth, Move the major thing, such as the table.

Seventh, Put all of you thing back in

Eighth, wire management for the computer. PC like this often will have lots of wire and it will look messy if you don't manage them.
