Rolling Wood Storage Cart From Scrap

I built this rolling cart in my quest to corral the scrap wood in my garage workshop. In a recent post I illustrated how I recycled old cabinets into a workbench to help clean up and organize my limited space. This short Instructable continues the theme of organizing and optimizing my garage workshop.
Please view my Rolling Workbench build post for more info.
Like most of us, keeping our workspaces organized is a challenge. Mine had gotten out of control. You can see in the photo how the scrap is leaning against the garage door and scattered around. My garage is my workshop and I share it with my wife's vehicle. The goal is to eventually have most, if not all, equipment and storage on casters to make the space more usable and easier to clean. I can back her vehicle out and roll everything around to better utilize the space.
Supplies
To build the rolling storage cart i used the following:
Scrap 2" x 4"s and plywood
Drill driver
Miter saw
Orbital sander
Various screws
Casters (the only item purchased for this build)
A square
Tape Measure
And as always hearing protection, safety goggles, a sanding mask and heavy gloves for handling rough material
Assembly

My project size was dictated by the space and the scrap wood available. I never open the garage door on the workshop side. I wanted to park the storage cart in front of the garage door. It was important that I could easily roll it out. The cart had to be narrower than the door and shorter than the door guides.
The frame was built primarily with 2" x 4"s. I kept the dimensions simple. The back boards are 6' tall and the front are 4' tall. The side boards are 2'. The width is 5'. I had plywood scrap for the top and base. All parts were cut with a miter saw. Everything was rough sanded to get rid of splinters.
The 2' side middle boards are at the 3' height mark. There is a board dividing the cabinet in the middle so that lumber can be sorted by size.
The base is framed up with two extra 2' boards for support.
All parts are glued, then screwed together. A square was used to help keep things uniform.
One side was left open at the top so that tall scrap could be teetered in.
The project was finished with the addition of casters on the bottom.
Wood Storage

The completed cart was rolled into place. I still have small scrap to deal with. That is the subject of a future Instructable. The workbench next to the Wood Storage Cart was replaced by my new rolling Workbench. I hope you will take a moment to view that Instructable.
