Rolled Ice Cream Treat
Enjoy this easy to prepare, customizable, 2-ingredient summer treat! Rolled Ice Cream is delicious and a picturesque dessert. To make Rolled Ice Cream all you need is:
- Heavy Whipping Cream
- Sweetened Condensed Milk
- Choice of Toppings/Mix-ins
- Baking Sheet
- Spatula
Step 1: Add the Ingredients
Whisk together 1 cup of heavy whipping cream and 1/2 cup of sweetened condensed milk.
Note: The base may be too sweet, so change the proportion of cream to sweetened condensed milk.
Step 2: Pour the Ice Cream Base Into a Baking Tray
Pour the ice cream base into a baking tray. Be sure that it fits into your freezer and that there is a fairly thin layer of the mixture in the tray.
Step 3: Add Toppings
Add toppings/mix-ins of your choice to the base.
- Mocha: Instant Coffee and chocolate chip
- Mixed Berry: Add blended berries
- S'mores: Crumbled graham crackers, mini marshmallows, and chocolate chips
The possibilities are endless!
Step 4: Freeze and Roll
Put the tray into the freezer for 6 hours or overnight. Also freeze the spatula and bowls that you will be using.
After taking it out of the freezer, use the spatula to gently roll the ice cream. Place these rolls in the bowl.
Note: If it is hard to get the ice cream out, use a knife to score it. If the ice cream is melting too quickly, put ice packs under it.
Step 5: Enjoy!
