Create Your Batter!

First we are going to make our base cake mix. Lets mix our Smore cake mix with 1 package of our instant pudding mix, 3 beaten eggs, 1 cup of sour cream,1.5 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1.5 cups of milk, and 1/3 cup of butter. We will beat our ingredients together with an electronic mixer for 3 minutes. If you are doing it the old fashion way good luck!

After our ingredients our mixed and we have a nice batter we will grease the slow cooker and pour in our batter.

Creating Our Mid Layer

Now we will create our mid-layer with our remaining milk and our filling packet that comes in our cake mix. Use a sauce pan or pot to simmer your 2 cups of milk and cupcake filling. Do not let it boil. You should use medium heat on the stovetop.

Next, Sprinkle half of your instant pudding mix on your mix already in the slow cooker and let it sit for about 5 minutes. We will now pour in our mid layer on top. it is normal to see a little mix spot through your mid layer.

Cook on LOW for 4 hours.

Prepping Your Topping

When the 4 hours are up your cake should be looking pretty nice. You can check to see if your cake is done by giving it a little stab and seeing if any batter is still on your fork. I like to roast my walnuts a little to bring out the flavor. This only takes 5 minutes in the oven at 400 degrees. They should look a little browned and give off an earthy scent.

Add Your Toppings In

Your toppings can go in, in any order you like. I like to mix my chocolate, graham crackers, and marshmallows together. If you want it to look really pretty and you opt to add some additional graham crackers, I would go in this order: graham crackers, chocolate, then marshmallows.

All you have to do now is recover the crock pot and wait about 20 minutes. All done! You did a terrific job! I would strongly suggest vanilla ice cream to go with this tasty dessert.

Thanks for reading my Instructable to the end! Let me know if you made it and if you liked it!
