Rock-paper-scissors Maze

IMG_0736.jpg

My Design Concept:

I think that both mazes and rock-paper-scissors are quite interesting games, so I thought of combining them into one game, resulting in the creation of the Rock-Paper-Scissors Maze.

How to Play:

  1. Press the red button on the side.
  2. The machine will randomly choose scissors, rock, or paper. Then, take the popsicle stick and place the marble at the starting point. Use the popsicle stick to roll the marble to the position where it will beat the machine. If it falls into a hole, you need to pick another marble from the groove and try again.
  3. If you reach the corresponding position within 60 seconds, you will receive a candy in a capsule.

The servo motors connects to D8 18 19 20 (D18 19 20 AKA A0 1 2).

The I2C LCD screen connects to GND, VCC, SDA, SCL according to the label on the board.

The LED connects to D10 11.

PIR Motion Sensor connects to D4 5 7.

Button connects to D12.

You will need a 37x26x16 box and a 20x10x16 box for the outer layer. You should make a hole on the left side of the 37x26x16 box for the capsule to come out. Another hole on the right side of also the 37x26x16 box for the marble to fall out of, and a groove under the hole for collecting marbles and popsicle stick. And a 30x18 cm cardboard for a slope, then put it inside the 37x26x16 box for the marble to roll down. A hole shoud be made for the button to go in. The 20x10x16 box should have 3 holes for the paper rock and scissors showing up, a hole for the I2C LCD screen going through and 2 small holes for the red and green LED going through. You don't have to have the back and the bottom side of the box, it won't matter much.

For the capsules rolling down, you need a piece of cardboard for the capsules sliding down. Remember to cut a hole for the capsules to be put onto the slope.

This is the pictures of my maze, you can make your own maze or make one according to mine. You can put a red flag on the starting point.

Decoration

After the main part of the machine, you can decorate it with a layer of wrapping paper and a discription or rule of how to play it.

Finish
