I used precut 5 inch squares from the quilting section.

Pin fabric right sides together.

Sew around leaving an opening to put the rice in. Back stitch at openings.

Use finger to turn right side out pressing the corners out as you go.

Use a funnel and fill with 8-9 tablespoons of regular (not instant) white rice. You don't want the bag completely full.

Pin opening shut.

This should give you an idea of how much rice should be in your bag.

I used a zipper foot and sewed mine shut on the outside. Or you can hand see them shut.

Sewn shut.

Finished rice bags. Due to small size only microwave for 20-30 seconds depending on microwave size. And as always use a Baggie between nail and rice bag to keep the moisture away from your nail. I still recommend using the original Jamberry application process but a rice bag can help you get smooth results for certain wraps. Also good on toes and kids.
