Rhys' Brownie Special #HMS2020
Welcome ladies and gentlemen, to my brownie recipe! They're so good, moist, and delicious that you will be thinking of them for the rest of the day!
Supplies
4 stick unsalted butter, 1 lb plus 12 ounces semisweet chocolate chips, 6 ounces unsweetened chocolate, 6 extra-large eggs, 2 tbsp pure vanilla extract, 2 1/4 cups of sugar, 1 1/4 all-purpose flour, 1 tbsp baking powder, 1 tsp salt, 3 cups chopped walnut (Walnuts are optional)
Preheat Oven
Preheat the oven to 350 Fahrenheit. If you put it any higher or will probably get overcooked. If you make it lower it will be undercooked.
Preparing the Pan.
Butter and flour 12 x 18 baking sheet. You could use another pan but it would mean the brownies would be flatter.
Mixing the Ingredients
Melt the butter, 1 pound of chocolate chips, and 6 ounces unsweetened chocolate in the microwave on medium heat for 2 minutes and 30 seconds.
In a large bowl mix together the eggs, vanilla, and sugar. Stir in the chocolate mixture into the same bowl.
Let it cool to room temperature.
In another bowl, stir in 1 cup of flour, the baking powder, and salt. Add it to the chocolate mixture. Stir in the 6 ounces of semisweet chocolate chips and (optional) walnuts. Pour it into the baking sheet and spread evenly.
Baking the Brownies
Place in the oven in the middle rack and bake for 35-40 minutes. Allow to cool and cut into squares. If you put in on a high rack the top side gets baked more. If you put it on the bottom rack the bottom of the brownies will be baked more.
Enjoy!
If you've overcooked or undercooked the brownies, they will not taste good. Stick a toothpick into the brownies, if it comes out clean and easy, they're ready. However, if it comes out sticky, cook it for a few more minutes, and keep checking with a toothpick, and check if it comes out clean.
Enjoy! Relax and eat your brownies.
