Revolved Lamp

lamp_HERO.jpg

Here's an update on a classic: One of the first revolved volumes ever made with the DIWire!

What we love about this Bendable is its simple joinery . The entire assembly is held together with three laser cut acrylic pieces: Identical top and bottom pieces radially locate each of the twelve bent profiles while the central laser cut piece holds the assembly in tension and captures the light bulb socket. No soldering, welding, hot-gluing, clipping, zip-tying, taping, or holding-together-with-10-pairs-of-hands. And you could even wrap it with a lamp-shade (no fixturing promises there, sorry). Make your own lamp and share it with us. We love lamps!
