Reusable Hot Coffee Cup Sleeves

Hello everyone for all those to like to enjoy a hot or a cold coffee, I made this coffee cup sleeve that i warranty it will keep your coffee hot or cold for more that one hour.

For this project you will need piece of polyurethane foam 5 mm thick 28 cm long and 10 cm wide , a piece of fabric of your choice of pattern 34 cm long and 10 cm wide, a piece of thick paper or cardboard , scissors , sewing machine and bias tape.

First we put all the materials together and with the piece of cardboard we draw the design for our cup sleeve

we transfer the design to the back of the fabric using a pencil for fabric or a regular pencil can work too

We put together the fabric and the polyurethane foam and with the sewing machine we sew both ends to keep both pieces for the next step.

We sew the bias tape to the top and bottom using the sewing machine

Once that the bias tape its on place we reverse the coffee sleeves and we sew the two ends this can be done with the sewing machine or by hand.

Once that you finish this will be the perfect result of your work. This coffee sleeve works well for paper cups all sizes from medium to extra large and it will keep your coffee hot or cold and your hands protected.
