Retro Vintage TV 3D Print

I have always been fascinated by old and vintage objects. I feel as though the way things used to be compared to how they are now is truly inspiring and shows you our growth as human beings. I was inspired to recreate a small TV design because I saw our light kit and the idea came to me. I knew I wanted to use the light in my design so I thought an old looking vintage light up TV was a great way to incorporate both ideas.

The materials I used were Pencils, paper, tinker CAD, 3D printer, paint, paper, wire, batteries, light bulb, and a socket.

I first sketched out my design, Then created my base of the TV in Tinker CAD.

I next cut out the holes and indent, then added the details of the channel and volume buttons. 

After, I converted my design to an STL file, then I sent it to the 3D printer. Once it was printed I put together a light kit. I wired the light to fit inside the TV 3D print. Then taped the light, and a black screen into place.

Afterwards I hot glued wire on to the top of the design, and spray painted a black base, and painted on designs for the buttons. After I painted I glued down paper with printed wood, and added a black screen to the hole of the TV.

Finally I hot glued the bottom onto the main TV and here's my final product.
